I am happy to introduce myself, my name is Reba Griggs, I am the new County Extension Agent for Agriculture and Natural Resources, and will be serving as the 4-H coordinator.
I was active in 4-H for over 13 years, from kindergarten through high school, and on the Collegiate level. I grew up in Idalou, TX, outside of Lubbock and participated in many 4-H projects including rabbits, sheep, goats, swine, photography, food show, fashion show, horse judging, soil judging, livestock judging, public speaking and leadership.
I have dreamed of and worked towards being a County Extension agent since I was 7 years old.
I have worked in communications and higher education since graduating from West Texas A&M University with a bachelors degree in Agricultural Communications and minors in Animal Science and Mass Communications. I plan to pursue my masters degree at Sul Ross State University starting next year.
In my spare time, I love cooking and trying out new recipes, photography, hiking, camping. I currently live in Valentine with my husband, Derrick, and our dog, Georgia.
